In 2012, Jiten started his own venture, Jiten’s Consulting Co, a boutique strategic advisory company providing consultancy to PE Firms, CEO’s and family-owned businesses. He holds Non-Executive Directorial positions in various companies across the globe. He is the Founder & CEO of ‘Transform to Perform Management Consulting Services LLP’. He also owns a music label, G2 Live, with two albums under it’s belt and has performed over 1000 shows across cites like Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Singapore, Bangkok, London, San Francisco & many others. He has been a professional cricketer, over 25 years, starting at age the age of 8, he represented his state Maharashtra, competing and playing with a host of Indian players including Sachin Tendulkar, Vinod Kambli, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and quite a few other domestic first class players.
Starting with a humble background as a ‘sales representative’ in the auto component business of the Kirloskar Group in 1994, he worked his way up in the hierarchy to become one of the youngest executive director & board member of the  US$ 2 Billion dollar group.

In his early year, he took up challenging roles in various departments like marketing, sales, service, strategy & even a short stint as EA to the group Joint Managing Director. He was a key knowledge resource for industry sectors influencing engines, gen-sets & industrial equipment business as well as the other product lines in the group.

In 2006, he became CEO of a publicly listed group company, G.G. Dandekar Machine Works Ltd., involved in rice milling machinery situated in Bhiwandi near Mumbai.

In the next few years, he spearheaded a turnaround of this old respected brand, into a dynamic young and innovative company, which involved creating a diverse but cohesive work force that designed new products, improved on age-old milling processes,  re-generated exports business and also set-up a new world class manufacturing facility in Nagpur.

In addition to above, in 2009, he was conferred upon the responsibility of taking over as the Executive Director of another group company, Kirloskar Consultants Ltd. In the short 3 year stint before the family dis-invested, he led the company to profitability through new businesses in the USA, set up systematic project review and created a performance oriented company providing consultancy in the power, infrastructure, water, environment, market research & performance consulting domains.
